Here is the trailer for one of my favourite films (one of the only existing films?) about a queer relationship between two East Asian women, who are simultaneously navigating diaspora and family relationships.
Basic plot line: Girl meets another girl at a large Chinese family get-together (seriously, my ultimate dream). They fall in love. Girl #1's widowed mother gets pregnant out of wedlock and is kicked out of her family home. Mother moves in with daughter. They both try to navigate love. There are lots of feelings involved.
I couldn't find an online version of the film, but I'm sure it would be very easy to access through other means on the internet!
